Received a bankrupt team who finished last in the East. This will be my 2nd season not being able to even offer the lowest bid on a FA.

Very quick an easy to deal w LAA. I'll get names soon.

Usually don't write in these forums but am waiting for a delayed flight to arrive.

This trade says by to the old guard slugger Ryan Howard. We will miss you.
His depature along w Bays will allow this team to function in the green for the 1st time in many yrs. This was not just a cost dump for we received 2 spects w bright futures (we hope) 1B to replace Howard and an OF stud. Also coming is an ace in Johnson however I really don't know if he will fair well in this park. He may just be a 1 yr rental bc I doubt I have the money to spend.

So got younger, freed some cash

Lost face of franchise and a nice young arm. We will see how this one will turn out.

Don't worry too much Jamie,

Ryan Howard did not have a chance to unpack as I sent him upstate to Oakland, which I landed the player and position I wanted to solidify, shortstop. Granted that Reyes is not been hitting well the past couple of seasons, but let's see if the limelight of Los Angeles can perk him up a little bit. All these prospects I traded would not have amounted to much, that is unless I moved them to another team, which is always been my luck in OOTP *laughs*. I enjoy trying to retool my team after two disappointing seasons in a row. Hopefully the shake up will help stir the boys up, if not, I still enjoy trading. So don't worry Jamie, now that those prospects are yours, I am sure they will blossom!
