Ask the countless number of legends who have flourished or those greats who never won the big one. Or tomorrow, ask any of the rookies what it's like to play in one of today's Division Series showdowns: Toronto Blue Jays versus Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles versus Cleveland Indians, Arizona Diamondbacks versus New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds versus Florida Marlins. | | | | | Yesterday's Games - American | | Away Team | Home Team | Result | Time | Winning Pitcher | Losing Pitcher | | Boston | New York | 7-6 | 2:05 pm | S.Hunt (1-0, 4.41 ERA) | D.Price (14-9, 3.89 ERA) | | Tampa Bay | Toronto | 6-9 | 1:05 pm | E.Rodriguez (13-7, 3.83 ERA) | S.Kazmir (13-12, 4.82 ERA) | | Baltimore | Cleveland | 4-9 | 1:05 pm | L.Sosa (4-2, 4.91 ERA) | A.López (0-1, 12.46 ERA) | | Kansas City | Chicago | 3-5 | 1:05 pm | S.Green (5-6, 4.50 ERA) | J.Lackey (7-13, 5.66 ERA) | | Detroit | Minnesota | 7-8 | 2:10 pm | A.Swarzak (4-3, 5.33 ERA) | D.McSwain (7-3, 4.20 ERA) | | Oakland | Texas | 4-8 | 3:35 pm | N.Griffith (5-1, 4.01 ERA) | N.Blackburn (8-16, 7.20 ERA) | | Seattle | Los Angeles Angels of | 1-3 | 4:05 pm | L.Cespedes (7-11, 4.90 ERA) | C.Volstad (4-5, 5.13 ERA) | | Yesterday's Games - National | | Away Team | Home Team | Result | Time | Winning Pitcher | Losing Pitcher | | Pittsburgh | Washington | 1-2 | 1:05 pm | B.Hawkins (5-2, 5.26 ERA) | A.McLish (8-8, 3.93 ERA) | | New York | Philadelphia | 3-2 | 1:05 pm | E.Robinson (11-3, 3.59 ERA) | J.Outman (11-13, 4.44 ERA) | | Florida | Atlanta | 4-0 | 1:05 pm | T.Jungmann (11-9, 3.90 ERA) | M.Greene (5-8, 2.47 ERA) | | Arizona | Cincinnati | 2-14 | 2:20 pm | C.Carpenter (13-11, 3.83 ERA) | T.Williams (17-6, 3.94 ERA) | | Houston | St. Louis | 7-0 | 1:35 pm | M.Mitchell (6-10, 4.44 ERA) | J.Martinez (8-13, 4.28 ERA) | | Chicago | Milwaukee | 0-5 | 2:15 pm | A.Periard (14-8, 3.16 ERA) | C.Lofgren (12-11, 3.92 ERA) | | Los Angeles | San Francisco | 1-3 | 4:40 pm | T.Norrick (10-10, 3.53 ERA) | C.Kershaw (7-14, 3.27 ERA) | | San Diego | Colorado | 7-8 | 4:05 pm | R.Hendrix (2-0, 12.71 ERA) | B.Mooneyham (1-3, 6.69 ERA) | | |
