It might just be the preseason, but baseball is in the air! |  | League Decrees 10-Game Suspension after Hill Fails Drug Test Tuesday, January 6th, 2015: Ron Hill's career just hit a troubling detour: drug suspension.
The 32-year-old Williamsport reliever was suspended 10 games for the use of a banned substance in violation of the league drug policy.
The suspension was handed down yesterday by the league commissioner's office and took effect immediately.
"We are extremely disappointed that Ron has violated the Commissioner's Performance-Enhancing Drug Policy," the Crosscutters general manager said in a two-paragraph prepared statement. "We are supportive of the program and will continue to educate all of our players. Earlier today Ron asked to speak to his teammates to apologize for the mistakes he has made and for letting the organization and his team down"
